Cemal Enginyurt reveals to 12punto: 'Soon, together with Salih Uzun...'
Istanbul MP Cemal Enginyurt was a guest on the program '12'den' with Tuncay Mollaveisoğlu on the 12punto YouTube channel. Making striking statements regarding the agenda, Enginyurt announced for the first time which party he and Salih Uzun, with whom he resigned from the Democrat Party, will join.

Istanbul MP Cemal Enginyurt, who resigned from the Democrat Party some time ago, answered Tuncay Mollaveisoğlu's questions on the 12punto YouTube account. Making striking assessments regarding the agenda, Enginyurt said regarding the arrest of Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ, "Ümit Özdağ was the only man in Turkey you shouldn't mess with. Erdoğan messed with him."
Enginyurt said the following regarding Özdağ's detention process:
“Erdoğan has brought a huge problem upon himself. If I were in Erdoğan's place, I would immediately dismiss everyone at the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office who had a hand in this, including Akın Gürlek. Because he has created a massive front against Erdoğan. The arrest of Ümit Özdağ has brought the opposition in Turkey together for the first time, perhaps after 1.5 years. From Özgür Özel to Müsavat Dervişoğlu, from Hüseyin Baş to Salih Uzun. Whether they like Ümit Özdağ or not, it has united the entire opposition. Secondly; they cannot silence Ümit Özdağ or Cemal Enginyurt. Even if they kill us, they cannot silence us. Even if they kill us, we will poke our heads out of the grave and shout 'Erdoğan resign' again. I am sure that very difficult days await Erdoğan in the coming days.”
'IF WE ARE GOING TO ENGAGE IN POLITICS IN A PARTY...'
Touching upon the process of both his and Salih Uzun's resignation from the Democrat Party, Enginyurt responded to Tuncay Mollaveisoğlu's question, "Did you receive an offer from the CHP?" by saying, "There were suggestions that our being together would provide strength. We did not give a negative response to these suggestions."
Stating, "We were elected as MPs with the legitimate votes of the Republican People's Party," Enginyurt said the following:
“For Salih Uzun and me, this process is slowly coming to an end, it is about to be completed. I repeat; if we are going to engage in politics in a political party, our first choice will be to engage in politics in the Atatürkist, secular, democratic party, the Republican People's Party.”
