Certain areas in Batman declared temporary security zones

Certain areas in the Hasankeyf district of Batman have been declared temporary military security zones between June 19 and July 3.

In a statement from the Governor's Office, it was stated that citizens should not enter the temporary military security zone declared within the Provincial Gendarmerie Command's area of responsibility without permission between the specified dates for the sake of their life and property safety.

The statement, which noted that criminal proceedings will be initiated against those who do not comply with the ban in accordance with Article 66 of the Provincial Administration Law No. 5442, included the following:

"The land sections remaining between the north, 500 meters northeast of the Guharareziye ridges of Çatalsu Neighborhood, Çine Hill, 200 meters west of Koyunlu Neighborhood, Diyar Hill, Kubalo Hill, Verkedavut Hill Banikola ridge, east of Güneşli village, Diyarenesi Hill, Riliki Hill, south of Kelekçi village, southeast of Kelekçi village, south of Montol Hill, Unnamed Hill, north of Kuşaklı Mountain, Harami Outpost Pass, and in the east, northeast of Sevrak Hill, Güverhacı Hill southwest of Kayıklı village, northeast of Şikeriharciya Hill, in the south, northeast of Şikerharciya Hill, east of Gariavlike Hill, east of Beltaguvar Hill, extension of Karakataş Hill, Çaymavan Hill, Poyraz Hill, Şayesir ridges, 1685 Elevation Hill, Kevni Hill, west of Şan Hill, Kelemahmuke ridges, and in the west, Kelemahmuke ridges, Guharamir Hill, Nöbet Hill, and the extension of Çatalsu Neighborhood have been declared temporary military security zones between June 19 and July 3."
