Cevdet Yılmaz to serve as acting President
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will serve as acting President during AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to the United States (USA) from September 21 to 26.

The memorandum regarding Yılmaz serving as acting President has been published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, due to President Erdoğan's visit to the USA between September 21 and 26, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will serve as acting President until his return, in accordance with Article 106 of the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye.
