Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will serve as acting President due to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to the People's Republic of China.

The memorandum regarding Vice President Yılmaz serving as acting President has been published in the Official Gazette. According to the published memorandum, since President Erdoğan will be visiting the People's Republic of China on August 30, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will serve as acting President until his return, in accordance with Article 106 of the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye.
