Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will serve as acting President during the visit of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The decree regarding Vice President Yılmaz serving as acting President has been published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, due to President Erdoğan's visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on August 7, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will serve as acting President until his return, in accordance with Article 106 of the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye.
