CHAOS AT THE MOMENT OF THE ACCIDENT
The incident began around 08:30 in the morning when a car driven by Mehmet Nuri İ., traveling in the direction of Edirne, lost steering control for an unknown reason. The out-of-control vehicle struck two cars moving ahead of it before flipping over and coming to a rest upside down on the road.
In the accident, the driver of the car, Mehmet Nuri İ., became trapped inside the vehicle. Other drivers who witnessed the accident and citizens in the vicinity immediately intervened.
INJURED DRIVER RESCUED
The driver, who was removed from the vehicle as a result of the quick intervention by citizens, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after receiving initial treatment from medical teams arriving at the scene. No statement has yet been made regarding whether the injured person's life is in danger.
Following the accident, both fire and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The removal of the vehicles involved in the accident caused traffic to stop for a period and led to kilometers of heavy congestion. Traffic flow returned to normal after the teams completed their work.
