Chain-reaction traffic accident in Mersin
Two people lost their lives and 6 others were injured in a chain-reaction traffic accident that occurred in Mersin.

According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 34 TC 6526, while traveling from Okan Merzeci Boulevard in the central Yenişehir district towards the Mezitli district, lost control as it entered the Democracy Junction, first hitting an electric pole on the median and then colliding with another vehicle coming from the opposite direction.
2 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
At that moment, 3 more vehicles under the bridge were involved in the accident. In the chain-reaction traffic accident involving 5 vehicles, Mehmet Filiz (23) and an unidentified person lost their lives, and 6 people were injured.
While the injured were taken to hospitals in the region by ambulances dispatched to the scene, the bodies of those who died in the accident were taken to the Mersin University Faculty of Medicine Hospital morgue for autopsy.
It was reported that the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
