It has been reported that two deputy secretaries-general at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) have been dismissed and updates have been made to the management structure.

Significant changes have been made to the management staff at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM). According to the announcement published by the Municipality's Human Resources Branch Directorate, it was announced that Deputy Secretaries-General Cemal Ufuk Karakaya and Murat Yazıcı have been removed from their positions.
The announcement stated that, as part of the restructuring carried out in line with institutional needs, Mahir Polat has returned to the position of Deputy Secretary-General. Furthermore, it was stated that Oktay Özel was appointed to this position as of April, and Oğuzhan Bahadır was appointed as acting deputy secretary-general.
It was noted that Karakaya and Yazıcı will continue their duties in department head positions within the office of the secretary-general, and they were thanked for the services they have provided to date. The statement included the following: “We would like to thank Mr. Cemal Ufuk Karakaya and Mr. Murat Yazıcı, who will continue their duties in department head positions within the office of the secretary-general, for the services they have provided to date and wish them success in their new roles.”
