Changes to numerous transport services in Istanbul on January 1
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) has announced that adjustments have been made to certain public transport services this evening and tomorrow due to a demonstration taking place on the Galata Bridge on January 1 to say "stop" to the massacre in Palestine.

In a statement issued by IBB, it was noted that temporary adjustments have been made to public transport due to the march and press statement to be held around the Galata Bridge on January 1, in accordance with decisions taken by the Istanbul Governorship and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
In this context, the statement noted that some services on tram, IETT, and sea transport lines have been suspended or their routes changed, and it was reported that on the T1 Kabataş-Bağcılar Tram Line, services will not be able to operate between the Kabataş and Sultanahmet stations today from 22:00 to 02:00, and between the Kabataş-Beyazıt stations tomorrow from 06:00 to 14:00.
The statement emphasized that on the T5 Eminönü-Alibeyköy Tram Line, service will not be available between the Küçükpazar-Eminönü stations tomorrow from 06:00 to 14:00, and during this period, single-track operation will be implemented between the Cibali-Küçükpazar stations.
It was also stated that temporary routes have been determined for many lines affiliated with IETT due to road closures, and that citizens can use the "Where is My Bus" (Otobüsüm Nerede) mobile application to receive real-time information.
BUS LINES ARE AS FOLLOWS
The lines that will be affected by the demonstration were listed in the statement as follows:
"146B, 26, 26A, 28, 28T, 30D, 31E, 32, 33, 33E, 33ES, 33TE, 33Y, 35, 36KE, 38E, 46Ç, 50E, 50P, 54E, 54TE, 66, 70D, 70FE, 70KE, 74, 74A, 77Ç, 78, 78H, 79E, 79GE, 80, 82, 92, 92C, 93, 97A, 97GE, 99A, EM1, EM2."
Stating that services on the Üsküdar-Haliç, Kadıköy-Haliç, and Beşiktaş-Haliç lines will not be able to operate under City Lines (Şehir Hatları), the statement included the following: "It is important for Istanbul residents to pay attention to the specified arrangements and consider alternative methods of transportation in order to avoid any inconvenience."
