New post from Chief Advisor to the President Uçum: Our red lines

Chief Advisor to the President Mehmet Uçum, who faced intense criticism from AKP members following an interview he gave on a television channel, has shared a new post on his social media account titled 'Our red lines'.

Chief Advisor to the President Mehmet Uçum, who has caused controversy within the AKP, has declared his 'red lines' in a new post.

In his post, Uçum stated, "There are no peoples in Turkey, there is the people of Turkey. There are no nations in Turkey, there is the Turkish nation."

The statement made by Uçum is as follows:

"There are no peoples in Turkey, there is the people of Turkey.

There are no societies in Turkey, there is the society of Turkey.

There are no nations in Turkey, there is the Turkish Nation.

There are no other flags in Turkey, there is the moon-and-star Turkish Flag.

There is no citizenship under other names, there is Turkish Citizenship, the content of which is Republican citizenship.

In Turkey, there is only Turkish as the sovereign and official language.

There are no different countries within our national borders, there is only Turkey (Misak-i Milli).

There is the Republic of Turkey, whose founding leader is Atatürk.

Any objection or threat directed at these entities is a survival issue and a matter of national security.

Everyone who accepts these entities and democratic achievements, and who possesses the will to protect our survival, is under the obligation to come together for a new constitution worthy of Turkey. 

This obligation is a responsibility towards the Republic. This obligation is the responsibility to secure Sovereign Democracy.

This responsibility lies with the Internal Front. Within the Internal Front, there are all patriotic, nationalist, national, national-conservative, right-wing, and left-wing democratic forces. The goal of the Internal Front is an anti-imperialist, Fully Independent, Strong Turkey.

Turkey will achieve this."
