Chief Presidential Advisor Saral's 'know your place' outburst at Özgür Özel: 'He has crossed every line'
Chief Presidential Advisor Oktay Saral has issued a statement containing striking remarks following comments made by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel at a rally in Ümraniye.

Özgür Özel made statements that stirred the political agenda at his Ümraniye rally, just as he has done at his previous rallies.
Pointing out that Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek had received money from another job during the early stages of the investigation he is overseeing, Özel also addressed AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan, using the phrase, "the oppressed of yesterday, the oppressor of today."

Chief Presidential Advisor Oktay Saral was among those who reacted harshly to Özel. In a statement on his social media account, Saral used the following expressions:
"The vulgar Özgür Özel, who insults our President, has now crossed every line!
Who are you to cast aspersions on the leader of this noble nation!
You are the representative of a mentality that protects thieves, the corrupt, and the bribe-takers, and tries to protect its seat through dirty alliances.
You won your party congress through bargaining, and now you speak as if you are paying a debt of gratitude to those who put you in that seat!
No one can target the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor, Mr. Akın Gürlek, nor can they attempt to pressure the judiciary!
He will pay a heavy price for this, both before the law and in the conscience of the nation!
This insolent, shortsighted politician called Özgür Özel, who is a prisoner of his own ambition, is struggling in a desperate attempt to change the agenda.
But it is in vain!
The Turkish Nation knows very well who is who and who stands with whom. Everyone will know their place, their manners, and their limits!"
