Child abuse never ends! Local water delivery man built a soundproof room and abused children for years

Child sexual abuse incidents continue unabated.

Most recently, the sexual assaults against children by local water delivery man Metin Şenay have come to light.

According to information obtained by Seyhan Avşar from Halktv; Şenay, who was tried by the Bakırköy 10th High Criminal Court on charges of abusing a child living in Gaziosmanpaşa in 2009, had been acquitted citing a lack of evidence.

KIDNAPPED BY SAYING 'LET ME DROP YOU HOME'

On May 24, 2023, 12-year-old M.Y., who was still attending primary school in Bağcılar, did not return home despite school hours ending.

While the family searched for their child for hours, security forces began examining surrounding cameras minute by minute following a complaint. It was determined that M.Y., who left school around 12:40, got into the vehicle of the local water delivery man, Şenay. Şenay had taken 12-year-old M.Y. into his vehicle by saying, "Let me drop you home. Don't tire yourself out."

ABUSE AND TORTURE IN A SOUNDPROOF ROOM!

Instead of dropping the child home, Şenay took him to his workplace. First, he let him play games on the computer, and then told the child to go to the back room.

That back room was a room of terror. The walls of the room were covered with sponges to soundproof screams. There were no windows, glass, or any furniture in the room. Şenay handed the child a container and said, "You are here now. If you need to use the toilet, you will do it in this." He then raped the child.

THREATENED WITH CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES

The child, whose stomach hurt due to the incident, started crying. This time, Şenay opened a video on his phone of children being subjected to violence in what he claimed was an 'orphanage' and made M.Y. watch it: "If you make a sound, I will be arrested. And you will be given to child protective services. You will never see your family again. Shut up and don't cry. I will kill you," he said.

GAVE INSTRUCTIONS WITH PIECES OF PAPER

While M.Y. was experiencing this terror, it took hours for the police to find him. Police raided Şenay's workplace, and M.Y. was found unconscious in a room covered in blood. In the room of terror, alongside pieces of paper containing phrases like "Shut up", "I will kill you", "Don't cry", "Let no one hear you..", numerous digital materials were discovered.

THE HORRIFYING TRUTH EMERGED

The Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office conducted the investigation into Metin Şenay, who was detained and arrested.

The seized digital materials revealed a horrifying reality. Şenay had also sexually abused other children from the neighborhood and recorded it.

RAPED FOR 10 YEARS AND SUFFERED PARALYSIS???????

Some of the horrifying footage belonged to a child named R.Ş., who was subjected to Şenay's abuse between 2011 and 2021. R.Ş. was identified from the digital materials through the efforts of the Prosecutor's Office. R.Ş., who was subjected to abuse for 10 years, suffered paralysis. Until suffering paralysis, he continued to experience the terror for years.

"THE FIRST INCIDENT HAPPENED AT AGE 5"???????

R.Ş., who is now 19 years old, described what he experienced in his statement to the Prosecutor's Office with the following words:

"When I saw the news about Metin Şenay in the newspaper, I locked myself in the house. It was bad. My mother asked me, 'Did Metin do anything to you?' I couldn't tell her out of fear. I have known Metin Şenay since I was 4-5 years old. He used to call me to his shop. He would get angry when I didn't go. He threatened me, saying he would kill me. He used to tell me, 'I will marry you. Let's have a child. When you turn 18, we will have an Islamic marriage.' The first incident happened at age 5. The last incident was when I was in the 9th grade. He would record videos while having sexual intercourse. This continued until I suffered paralysis."

HE ALSO ABUSED HIS RELATIVE'S CHILDREN!

Two children found in Şenay's digital materials were siblings. 13-year-old M.Ö. and 14-year-old E.Ö. were the children of Şenay's sister-in-law. Şenay lived in the same building as these children and abused these two siblings simultaneously between 2019 and 2023. The children could not tell anyone what they experienced until the prosecutor's office identified them.

HUNDREDS OF YEARS IN PRISON REQUESTED

The terror Şenay inflicted on the children was detailed in the indictment prepared by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office requested over a century in prison for Şenay on charges of "depriving a child of liberty using force, threat, and deception, with a weapon and for sexual purposes", "aggravated sexual abuse of a child", and "using children in the production of obscene publications" against four children.

On the other hand, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had sent a seized digital material belonging to Şenay to an expert. One of these digital materials was decrypted. However, the other could not be opened yet because it is encrypted. Other victimized children may also be present in this digital material.
