CHP Antalya and Kayseri provincial chairs dismissed
CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı announced that CHP Antalya Provincial Chair Nail Kamacı and his organization have been dismissed, and that the CHP Kayseri provincial organization and its Provincial Chair Ufuk Ozan Gözbaşı have been dismissed and referred to the disciplinary board.

The CHP Central Executive Board (MYK) and Party Assembly (PM) met under the chairmanship of CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. Making a statement at the CHP Headquarters following the meetings, CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı stated that they discussed developments in Turkey and the region, as well as the process the party is currently undergoing.
Stating that they do not find the resignations that occurred after the last local elections to be appropriate, Sarı said, "I am setting aside our friends who left the Republican People's Party and are continuing their path independently. However, we never accept taking sides with a party that we are politically struggling against. We do not find this ethically correct, nor do we find it politically correct. We believe that a self-criticism is necessary here."
"The evaluation of the 820 signatures we have is still ongoing"
Providing information regarding the signatures for holding a party congress, Sarı said, "We had stated that we would make evaluations regarding the content of the signatures for holding a congress. The evaluation of the 820 signatures we have is still ongoing. A comprehensive statement regarding this will be made in the coming days."
Sarı also conveyed that they have made the decision to begin the Ordinary Congress starting in September. Furthermore, Sarı stated that 2 provincial chairs have been dismissed, adding, "We have taken a decision to dissolve the Kayseri Provincial Organization along with its disciplinary board, and consequently the Provincial Chair, and to appoint our friend Okan Marzıoğlu as the provincial chair in place of our current Provincial Chair. We have also dismissed the management of our Antalya province. In his place, we have appointed Hasan Şahin, one of our previous term District Chairs, as the provincial chair."
"We do not accept the incidents we have encountered within the framework of decisions taken at provincial buildings"
Regarding the tensions experienced at CHP provincial buildings, Sarı stated, "We do not accept or find correct in any way the incidents we have encountered within the framework of decisions taken at the Republican People's Party's provincial buildings. It does not befit the institutionalism of the Republican People's Party. At the same time, we are closely monitoring actions and behaviors that do not befit the identity of the Republican People's Party here. We have decided to warn our friends who carried out these acts, which we find unpleasant and offensive after the photos of Özgür Özel were taken down, and to initiate disciplinary proceedings against them."
"Our chairman plans to visit Demirtaş"
Regarding the allegations that Kılıçdaroğlu requested a meeting with Selahattin Demirtaş, Sarı said, "Our chairman plans to visit Demirtaş, just as he has done before. However, there has been no initiative taken regarding this at the moment. But we have such a plan for the coming days."
