The CHP has taken action in response to the government setting the 2025 minimum wage at 22,104 TL.
Calling on the working class to strike by stating, "This is the latest sign that Tayyip Erdoğan has become disconnected from the realities of this country," CHP Chairman Özgür Özel has summoned his party's Central Executive Board (MYK) to an emergency meeting.
The extraordinary MYK meeting, which will be chaired by Özel—who had previously stated before the commission meeting that "Our minimum wage demand is 30, and we will not accept anything below that"—will be held tomorrow at 10:30 at the CHP Headquarters.
