CHP Chairman Özgür Özel makes second move following operation

Following the operation conducted today against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), CHP Chairman Özgür Özel has canceled his programs in Manisa and İzmir and will visit CHP's presidential candidate and İBB Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is being held at the Marmara Closed Prison in Silivri, along with other detainees today.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel has canceled his programs scheduled for today in Manisa and for Monday in İzmir.

Özel will meet with Ekrem İmamoğlu and other detainees at the Marmara Closed Prison in Silivri today at 13:00. Özel is also expected to be in Istanbul on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

SECOND WAVE IN İBB INVESTIGATION

Detention warrants have been issued for 53 more individuals as part of the investigations launched into the İBB.

Following this, 50 individuals were taken into custody during operations conducted by teams from the Financial Crimes Investigation Branch in Istanbul, Ankara, and Tekirdağ in the morning hours.
