CHP Chairman Özgür Özel to attend Socialist International meeting

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel will travel to Spain tomorrow to attend the Socialist International Council Meeting.

According to a written statement from the CHP, following his visit to Turkey's Ambassador to Madrid, Nüket Küçükel Ezberci, Özel will attend a working dinner of the Socialist International Executive Committee.

On Saturday, Özgür Özel will address participants during the council's first session, titled "Reforming Global Governance to Ensure Sustainable Development for All," where Socialist International President Pedro Sanchez will deliver the opening speech.

Özel will be accompanied on his Madrid visit by CHP Secretary General Selin Sayek Böke, Deputy Chairman İlhan Uzgel, and former Istanbul MP Ahmet Ünal Çeviköz.
