As the management crisis in the CHP continues following the absolute nullity ruling, different scenarios regarding the party's future have begun to be discussed in Ankara's political corridors.
According to allegations, following the steps taken by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his team, who were reinstated as chairman by a court decision, names close to Özgür Özel have put the possibility of a new political formation on the table. However, it is stated that Özel maintains his stance on continuing his political career under the CHP umbrella.
ALL EYES ON THE COURT OF CASSATION IN THE PROCESS
According to the report by Mahir Bağış from Nefes, the decision to come from the Court of Cassation will be decisive for the steps to be taken within the party. It is alleged that if no decision is issued that lifts the injunction regarding the CHP or clarifies the process before the judicial recess beginning on July 20, the option of a new party could be evaluated more concretely.
It is reported that aides close to Özel express the view that the prolongation of the decision-making process could narrow their field of political activity. According to the same sources, if no result is obtained from the Court of Cassation by the judicial recess, it is planned to intensify field operations.

“If the Court of Cassation decision is delayed, our space for political activity will be severely restricted. We are thinking of acting by anticipating this. If no decision is reached by the judicial recess, we will head out to Anatolia. We will go door-to-door and explain that they want to distance us from the CHP and prevent us from engaging in politics.”
