CHP council member passes away after suffering a heart attack
İsmail Özgürel, a CHP council member for the Safranbolu Municipality, has passed away after suffering a heart attack while at a vehicle inspection station in Karabük.

Safranbolu Municipality CHP Council Member İsmail Özgürel, who had scheduled his appointment for the first slot at the vehicle inspection station, suffered a heart attack behind the wheel this morning around 8:30 AM at the station located near Kızılcaören Village on the Karabük-Ankara highway.
PASSED AWAY AT THE SCENE
Upon notification by bystanders, 112 emergency service teams arrived at the scene. Medical teams determined that Özgürel had lost his life at the scene.
Following the work of the crime scene investigation teams, İsmail Özgürel's body was taken to the morgue of the Karabük University Training and Research Hospital.
