CHP Deputy Chairman and Zonguldak MP Deniz Yavuzyılmaz made a striking post on his social media account with the note, "The AKP's second Türk Telekom scandal!"

Yavuzyılmaz wrote the following:

The AKP's second Türk Telekom scandal

I am reporting this to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office

We have determined that all of Türk Telekom's services, subscriber installations, and fault repair operations for 6 million 300 thousand subscribers in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, and Antalya are to be transferred to two crony companies.

The resulting loss for Türk Telekom:

6 Billion 426 Million TL

I am announcing these two companies here!

İş-Kaya İnşaat

Akçadağ Grup

Yet, Türk Telekom is already a profitable organization and a communications company that provides public services with its own technical staff.

60% of Türk Telekom belongs to the Turkey Wealth Fund, and 25% belongs to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. 15% is publicly traded on the stock exchange.

Türk Telekom's current monthly cost per subscriber is 75 TL. However, with the transfer in question, 160 TL per month will be paid to the two crony companies per subscriber.

Result:

At Türk Telekom, where high-level AKP bureaucrats serve as executives;

The massive profit schemed to be obtained by the İş-Kaya and Akçadağ companies will be directly reflected as price hikes on the bills of Türk Telekom subscribers.

This means either a 100% hike in internet bills, or that billions of liras will be transferred directly from Türk Telekom's coffers to these companies.

This is called robbery

I am warning the Türk Telekom board of directors, senior executives, and those with administrative responsibility.

Stop this transfer immediately
