CHP's Başarır: Minister Özhaseki travels home using the Land Registry and Cadastre mapping plane
CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır has alleged that Minister of Environment and Urbanization Mehmet Özhaseki uses the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre's mapping plane for personal business. Başarır stated, "Come out and give an account of this to the public. The holiday is approaching, and people cannot afford 1,200 lira tickets to travel to their hometowns. By what right are you doing this?"

While reactions continue regarding Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu's trip to Germany on a private jet, it has been alleged that Minister of Environment and Urbanization Mehmet Özhaseki also uses the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre's mapping plane for personal business.
CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır said the following in his statement:
They had talked about austerity measures. They had said, 'There will be no 250-vehicle convoys.' What did we see? The Minister of Transport going to Germany on a plane belonging to a company he awarded a tender to. Another scandal belongs to Minister of Environment and Urbanization Mehmet Özhaseki. The Minister is traveling on a state plane. In fact, the Land Registry and Cadastre should be using this plane for aerial photography, but the Minister is going from Ankara to his home in Kayseri. He is using this plane for his personal business.
Stating that they have determined Minister Özhaseki used the plane in question to travel from Ankara to his home in Kayseri on May 10 and May 29, and that he had previously traveled to Hatay, Muğla, and Elazığ on the same plane, Başarır used the expressions, "Come out and give an account of this to the public. The holiday is approaching, and people cannot afford 1,200 lira tickets to travel to their hometowns. By what right are you doing this?"
