CHP deputy chair arrested in KOM investigation! Referred to High Disciplinary Board for permanent expulsion
Anıl Akbulut, a member of the CHP Antalya Provincial Board and deputy chair, who was detained as part of an operation conducted by the Antalya Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch, has been arrested by the court. CHP Antalya Provincial Chair Nail Kamacı stated in a post on his social media account, "Anıl Akbulut has been referred to our party's High Disciplinary Board with a request for permanent expulsion, with precautionary measures in place."

Republican People's Party (CHP) Antalya Provincial Deputy Chair Anıl Akbulut and Gürcan M., who previously served as deputy chair, were detained by teams from the Antalya Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch as part of an investigation.
BOTH ARRESTED
Anıl A. and Gürcan M. were brought to the courthouse yesterday (December 20) following their processing at the police station. After their statements to the prosecutor, Anıl Akbulut and Gürcan M. were arrested by the court and sent to prison.

Meanwhile, CHP Antalya Provincial Chair Nail Kamacı announced in a post on his social media account that provincial board member Anıl A. had been arrested and referred to the High Disciplinary Board with a request for permanent expulsion. In his post, Kamacı stated, “Provincial board member Anıl A. has been arrested due to an ongoing investigation. Anıl Akbulut has been referred to our party's High Disciplinary Board with a request for permanent expulsion, with precautionary measures in place. The investigation and legal process in question will be monitored.”
