CHP's Mahmut Tanal shares: It has emerged that Israeli products are being sold at Sincan Prison

Republican People's Party (CHP) Şanlıurfa Deputy Mahmut Tanal stated that Coca-Cola products, which are subject to public boycott calls due to their alleged ties to Israel, are being sold in prisons.
Emphasizing that he identified the situation during a prison visit, Tanal noted the following in a post on his X account:
"During the Sincan Prison visit we conducted last week as the Prison Subcommittee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey's Human Rights Investigation Commission, we determined that Coca-Cola products, which are subject to public boycott calls due to their ties to Israel, are being sold in the prison canteen. It is unacceptable that these companies' products are being sold in Turkish prisons while the massacre in Gaza continues.
The sale of products from companies that are being boycotted for being complicit in human rights violations must be stopped immediately in official state institutions, especially in prisons. I call on the Ministry of Justice and the General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses to take action on this matter. This practice, which disregards the public conscience, must be ended immediately, and all canteen products in prisons must be reviewed with human rights sensitivities in mind."
