CHP's Görele Mayor Hasbi Dede had given a statement to the prosecutor's office the other evening as part of an investigation conducted in Giresun, and was released by the court to which he was referred with a request for arrest, with a travel ban imposed.
However, due to new assessments in the investigation file and a message he allegedly shared on social media, Dede was summoned to the courthouse again today.
The CHP mayor, who appeared before the judge, was arrested this time and sent to prison.
