CHP Group Deputy Chair Başarır claims 'IMM case will collapse'

Başarır made striking statements regarding the current agenda during a live broadcast.

Speaking about the 'IMM exchange' allegation raised by CHP Chairman Özel, Başarır drew attention to the lawyer Mehmet Yıldırım case and stated, "The Yıldırım case is like the 'Susurluk' of the judiciary, and more will follow."

CHP Group Deputy Chair Ali Mahir Başarır also made another striking statement during the live broadcast he attended on Sözcü TV.

Stating that the IMM case will collapse following the recent developments, Başarır said, "I have things to disclose about a high-level AKP figure within two days."

Başarır said the following:

"Within a few days, events similar to the lawyer Mehmet Yıldırım incident, but much more grave and stomach-turning, involving a person who has held a high-level position in the AKP, will emerge. Perhaps Mr. Özgür Özel, or another colleague of ours, will announce them.

It will be revealed that the evidence and the confessions in these files are fabricated, that some people are profiting from this, that some want to get rich, and that this is being done in collaboration with certain factions of the judiciary. The Yıldırım case is the new Susurluk.

Why can't the prosecutor prepare an indictment? As soon as the confidentiality order is lifted, all sorts of things will come out. How people's statements were taken under effective remorse, how the Kütahya file was whitewashed, all of it will be revealed.

We have to fix the judiciary."
