While the repercussions of the court-ordered appointment of a trustee to the CHP continue, notable developments are also taking place. CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın shared a new development regarding the trustee appointed to his party during a live broadcast.

Participating in a program on Sözcü TV, Gökhan Günaydın stated that a person on the trustee committee announced by the court had called him and said that they would file an objection petition regarding their appointment as a trustee.

Gökhan Günaydın said, "One of the people appointed as a trustee called. They said, 'Mr. Gökhan, my name is there. I am very upset about this. I was racking my brain on how I could step down from this.' What does this show? It shows that people are engaging in a conscience check in response to the reaction shown by society and the party base."

CHP's Günaydın stated that the person in question would announce their decision on social media and would file a petition with the court to resign from the committee.

Günaydın also said that 400 people have voted so far for the renewal of the provincial congress.

The court removed CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik and the party's provincial administration from office, appointing a temporary board consisting of Gürsel Tekin, Zeki Şen, Hasan Babacan, Müjdat Gürbüz, and Erkan Narsap in their place.
