In a post on his social media account, Yeşiltaş stated, "Dear residents of Bursa, there is very little time left to smile. We invite you to serve as observers at the ballot box where you cast your vote, starting from 4:30 PM, to support our poll workers."
The CHP Bursa Provincial Chair had previously expressed his reaction to certain ballot box committee chairs, stating that attempts were being made in the city to have records signed before the votes were counted.
"THEY ARE TRYING TO GET BLANK RECORDS SIGNED"
According to a report by ArtıGerçek, Yeşiltaş recalled receiving information from poll workers that attempts were being made to have blank records signed, stating, "Some ballot box committee chairs are trying to get poll workers to sign blank records."
He added, "Our ballot box committee members and observers are refusing to sign early regarding this irregularity and are filing objections and keeping records."
"Since our school supervisors and poll workers are trained on this matter, they are not signing the blank records," said Yeşiltaş. "However, we are receiving information that poll workers from other parties are signing them. Our school supervisors and lawyers have filed their objections."
