CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik claims the next attack against the CHP will be via 'artificial intelligence': 'We have received reports'
Republican People's Party (CHP) Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik has announced that he has received reports suggesting that fake videos and audio recordings of prominent CHP politicians could be released using artificial intelligence.

Stating that he has received reports that fake phone conversations and images created with "artificial intelligence" could be released, Çelik issued a warning to citizens on the matter.
CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik stated during a program that, based on information he received, fake phone conversations and images created with artificial intelligence regarding CHP politicians could be released.
"THEY WILL MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THEY SAID IT"
He used the following expressions regarding the subject:
"Now we are hearing something new. And I heard it from one or two sources. People came to me and said,
'They will make it look like important political actors in your party have said things they never said, using artificial intelligence.'
'I thought about this a little. Can they do it? They can. Those who associated the CHP with terrorist organizations through edited videos before the 2023 elections, and then later went on a television program and confessed to that editing, are capable of anything."
Çelik continued his words as follows:
"Let this be a note for history. Tomorrow, certain phone conversations, certain images, etc., regarding the leading actors of the Republican People's Party or important actors of Turkish politics may be released."
