Özel made statements on social media regarding Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. Stating that Fidan should apologize, Özel ended his remarks by saying, "There is no response to any of these, it's nothing but TikTok."
In his statement, Özel expressed the following:
"Hakan Fidan, who damaged not only the institution he managed but also the reputation of the state while trying to exploit emotions three months ago with the claim that 'they poisoned me during my time as Undersecretary of MIT,' shows with his inconsistent statements that he does not have the skills to manage the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
First, Turkey does not sign the sanctions decisions against Israel at the meeting held in Bogota by the Hague Group, which came together to protect the rights of Palestine. When reactions rise from all segments of society, the appointed Minister makes scandalous statements to defend himself.
At first, they say, 'We are already imposing sanctions on Israel, what is the importance of this?' but it doesn't hold up. Then Hakan Fidan, using the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), which has nothing to do with the subject, as an excuse, makes another meaningless statement like, 'if we had signed the declaration, Greece's Aegean theses would have been strengthened.'
"EVERYONE KNOWS THEY DARE NOT"
In reality, everyone knows that they are only having a sham fight with Israel in cool halls and that they do not dare to cut off the trade that is burning hot.
Following the rising reactions, a few days after Hakan Fidan's statements, Deputy Minister Nuh Yılmaz announced in New York that they had decided to join the Bogota declaration they had not signed.
Now, I am addressing this appointed foreign secretary who is trying to talk back to us.
"MINISTER FİDAN MUST APOLOGIZE"
The Republican People's Party is the party that courageously defends the rights of Turkey and the oppressed, wherever our country's interests lie, both in the Eurofighter issue and the Palestinian issue. Hakan Fidan, who today signed the declaration after we suggested signing it with a reservation—when he said, 'If we had signed the declaration, we would have supported Greek theses. Is the CHP supporting Greek theses?' and told us to 'ask someone who knows'—must apologize to the CHP's corporate identity.
You cannot run a ministry by making gestures to the cameras, sharing videos on TikTok with Valley of the Wolves themes, and posing as a 'mysterious deep state man.'
The Turkic Republics recognized Southern Cyprus during your ministry.
Trump said, 'I will evacuate Gaza and build hotels there.'
Our daughter Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi was killed in Palestine, our daughter Rümeysa Öztürk was imprisoned in the US for defending Palestine.

From the widening distance between Turkey and the European Union to the dreams of Trump and Putin coming to Turkey for Ukraine peace....
There is no response to any of these, it's nothing but TikTok."
Üç ay önce, "MİT Müsteşarlığım döneminde beni zehirlediler" iddiasıyla duygu sömürüsü yapmaya çalışırken, sadece yönettiği kurumun değil, devletin itibarını da zedeleyen Hakan Fidan, tutarsız açıklamalarıyla Dışişleri Bakanlığı’nı yönetecek beceriye sahip olmadığını gösteriyor.…
