The CHP decided to organize a Grand Education Rally due to the problems experienced in education and the education system.

The rally, attended by teachers and unions, began at 13:00 at Saraçhane Square.

Eğitim-İş President Kadem Özbay and Eğitim-Sen President Kemal Irmak delivered speeches at the rally.

Highlights from Özel's statement are as follows:

They have no faults that would justify them not being appointed; they are teachers who have not been appointed. I welcome everyone who is here to support those who are victims of the interview process—which was promised to be abolished—despite being first or second in the exam, and who were denied positions despite their merit because they could not provide partisan answers to the questions asked."

"I AM ADDRESSING ERDOĞAN..."

I am addressing Erdoğan from here: if you weren't going to appoint them, why did you have these 1 million innocent people study? Why did you give them hope, and why are you turning your back on them?

REACTION TO THE 'NEW CURRICULUM'

*A Minister who has a problem with the Republic is imposing a curriculum that has a problem with the Republic. This curriculum, which has a problem with Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms, is null and void. An election slogan cannot be the name of a curriculum. We will resist this mentality to the end. If the decree belongs to the one-man rule, the struggle belongs to the nation.
