Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel commemorated Uğur Mumcu, the iconic investigative journalist who was murdered on January 24, 1993, in a post on his social media account.
In his post, Özel stated: "I commemorate Cumhuriyet newspaper writer #UğurMumcu with longing on the 32nd anniversary of his murder. We will build the bright future together where those bricks will be pulled, that wall will collapse, and the deep state will remain buried underneath, never to rise again."
