According to the post Yavuzyılmaz made on his X account, another company also brought and piled its oxide ores onto the heap leach pad at the Çöpler Mine, which was overloaded and suffered a landslide. However, it was discovered that the owner of this company, named Kartaltepe A.Ş., is the same as the other company.

Yavuzyılmaz's post is as follows:

"We have determined that a company named Kartaltepe A.Ş. also brought and piled oxide ores extracted from the 'Çakmaktepe mine' onto the heap leach pad at the 'Çöpler mine', operated by Anagold in İliç, which was overloaded and suffered a landslide.

As a result:

There is production pressure from not one, but two companies at this mining facility!

The owners of the companies creating this production pressure are also the same!

80% SSR Mining and 20% Lidya Mining (affiliated with the Çalık Group)

The result is a disaster!
