Republican People's Party (CHP) Tunceli Central District Chair Hüseyin Yoluk reacted strongly to the increasing attacks on the Alevi community and other minorities in Syria, stating that remaining silent in the face of oppression means being complicit in the crime. "Just as we did not remain silent yesterday in the face of the oppression Israel committed in Palestine, today we are raising our voices against the crimes against humanity committed against Alevis, Christians, and oppressed peoples in Syria!" he said.

"WE STAND AGAINST ALL MASSACRES AND OPPRESSION!"

Stating that innocent people are being oppressed all over the world, Hüseyin Yoluk said, "We stand with all the oppressed without making any distinction between the atrocities experienced in Gaza, Yemen, East Turkestan, and Syria. Regardless of belief, identity, or language, the killing of a human being means the destruction of humanity itself!"

Stating that the attacks carried out in Syria have turned into a systematic genocide, especially against the Alevi community, Yoluk said, "We will not remain silent in the face of any oppression! We call on all of humanity to stop this oppression. For a person with a conscience and a sense of justice, the color of life and the color of tears are the same."

"WE ARE CRYING OUT LOUDLY AGAINST OPPRESSION!"

Stating that there are those who cannot even tolerate peaceful actions, let alone speak out against oppression, Yoluk said, "Silence is the most loyal partner of oppression. We are crying out loudly against the massacre in Syria: Do not remain silent in the face of this oppression! Humanity is dying, and those who lose their conscience are becoming partners in this crime!"

"WE STAND WITH ALL THE OPPRESSED!"

Hüseyin Yoluk stated that as the CHP, they will always be defenders of justice and human rights, saying, "We stood with the oppressed yesterday, and we will continue to be their voice today and tomorrow! Wherever a crime against humanity is committed, we will stand against it. This is not a political stance, but a conscientious one!"

Finally, emphasizing that the international community and human rights defenders must take action, Yoluk concluded his words by saying, "When a faith is killed on earth, humanity is also buried. Our call to the whole world is: Stop the genocide in Syria! Raise your voice for justice, for humanity, for peace!"
