CHP's Özgür Çelik announces: Chief Public Prosecutor's Office requested the removal of İmamoğlu posters
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has sent a notice requesting the removal of posters of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and other imprisoned mayors across the city. CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik, in a statement, called on citizens to hang Ekrem İmamoğlu posters on their balconies.

Republican People's Party (CHP) Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik announced that a notice delivered to his party's district offices under police escort requested the removal of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu's posters across Istanbul.
Çelik shared the following statements in a post on his X account:
"A notice has been sent to our district offices under police escort. They want us to take down the photos and posters of our presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu and our mayors.
Let me tell you what we will do; I have instructed all our district offices to hang even more Ekrem İmamoğlu flags.
You will see Mayor Ekrem even more on house balconies, in squares, on streets, and on walls.
We will not let you forget the face of the national will! #EkremIsTheNation"
