CHP's Özgür Çelik makes 'not asked from age 24 to 53' statement: 'They are very afraid of İmamoğlu'

Speaking at this vigil, CHP İstanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik addressed the 'diploma' investigation launched against IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu.

CHP İstanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik commented on the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launching an investigation into Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) President Ekrem İmamoğlu's diploma, stating, "Ekrem İmamoğlu has not faced a single question regarding his university graduation from the age of 24 to 53."

CHP İstanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik, who participated in the democracy watch, delivered a speech. Çelik spoke regarding the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the diploma of TBB and IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu.

Çelik shared his speech on his social media account and added the following note:

"Fear is of no use against fate; the early election ballot box will come and you will go! 

For some reason, Ekrem İmamoğlu has not faced a single question regarding his university graduation from the age of 24 to 53.

Whenever İmamoğlu sets out for the presidency, those who have sworn to force a straitjacket on Turkey launch an investigation before even 24 hours have passed. 

While some try to block İmamoğlu's path, they are casting suspicion on the country's universities, public institutions, and the state itself, attempting to render them dysfunctional.  

Every day they seek prison sentences of up to 25 years with a new investigation; because they are very afraid of Ekrem İmamoğlu. 

You will not be able to set a barrier before the national will with slanders, lies, and smears.

Ekrem İmamoğlu will be elected, you will go!"
