CHP Party Spokesperson Müslim Sarı made statements following the MYK meeting held under the chairmanship of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

Stating that the process within the party should be overcome through dialogue, Sarı said, "I would like to state that the door to dialogue is open." Emphasizing that the group meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sarı said that Kılıçdaroğlu will attend the meeting.

Party Spokesperson Müslim Sarı, who made statements after the meeting, said that both the Turkish agenda and internal party developments were discussed at the MYK. Sarı stated that evaluations regarding potential roadmaps were also among the main agenda items of the meeting.

"WE WANT TO DETERMINE A ROADMAP  WITHOUT DIVIDING THE PARTY"

Expressing that they are working to eliminate the de facto situation within the party, Sarı said that the process should be advanced within the rules of law and without causing new difficulties for the party.

Stating that they want to establish a basis for dialogue with those who served in the previous administration, Sarı made the following remarks:

"We have shared that there are good-faith efforts to guide the party toward the path it needs, in unity and solidarity, without causing division or strain in the coming period. We stand in the same place."

"THE DOOR TO DIALOGUE IS OPEN"

Reiterating their proposal to form a call committee, Sarı said they want to discuss a roadmap that would lead the party out of its current situation and toward a party convention, all within the framework of existing legal rules.

Noting that some harsh assessments were made following his statements, Sarı emphasized that they have not abandoned the basis for dialogue despite this.

Sarı, "I would like to state that the door to dialogue is open" he said.

METROPOLITAN MAYORS STEP IN

Sarı also stated that some figures wish to take initiative in the process, noting that discussions have been held with Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Özgür Özel, and other prominent party figures.

Stating that a consensus has not yet been reached, Sarı expressed that good-faith negotiations are ongoing. Sarı also conveyed that a meeting between the three metropolitan mayors and both Kılıçdaroğlu and Özel is on the agenda.

PARTY ASSEMBLY TO CONVENE

Indicating that the process regarding the work of party organs is moving forward, Sarı said that a Party Assembly meeting will be held and the party's roadmap will be discussed there.

Sarı also announced that Mahir Polat has been elected as the chairman of the High Disciplinary Board.

KILIÇDAROĞLU TO ATTEND GROUP MEETING

Stating that the CHP will hold its group meeting on Tuesday, Sarı said that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will also attend the meeting.

Sarı stated, "We have a parliamentary group meeting on Tuesday. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will attend as our group chairman. Our determination continues. I do not want to enter into legal debates, but I want to state from a political perspective that we will hold the group meeting." he said.

EXPULSION DECISIONS WILL BE EVALUATED FILE BY FILE

When asked about the High Disciplinary Board's (YDK) recommendation regarding expulsion decisions made in the previous term, Sarı said that a false perception had been created in the public eye.

Sarı stated that the YDK had not made a decision that everyone who was expelled would automatically return to the CHP, noting that the files would be re-examined.

Sarı said, "We will evaluate them file by file in the coming days. If there were expulsions we cannot accept, we will operate the expulsion mechanisms. If there were assessments that we truly believe were unfair, we will restore their rights."

"WE WILL NOT HAVE A MENTALITY OF REVENGE"

Stating that internal party debates would not be turned into disciplinary matters, Sarı said, "We will not make the conflicts we see as part of the internal party struggle a disciplinary issue in a spirit of revenge."

Sarı said that they want to operate internal party democracy but that they also have red lines.

GROUP PRESIDENCY DEBATE

Responding to questions regarding the group meeting, Sarı said that political party groups do not have legal personality in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) and that under normal circumstances, the chairman is the person who represents the group.

Stating that they had previously informed the TBMM that they did not accept the current group election, Sarı said, "Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will deliver the group speech at the Turkish Grand National Assembly on Tuesday. Our determination is absolute."

KİLİS STATEMENT

Speaking about the developments in Kilis, Sarı said they did not have detailed information on the matter. Stating that they had received information that the mayor had contacts with the AK Party, Sarı noted that they had not yet made a comprehensive assessment.

Sarı stated that the CHP needs to recover quickly, adding, "We must carry out this process together without leading to new divisions."
