Deniz Yücel evaluated the decision made by the Supreme Election Council (YSK) regarding the request to halt his party's Istanbul Ordinary Provincial Congress, stating, "We remind you once again; the Republican People's Party is not a party that can be intimidated or suppressed by politicized judicial decisions.
An independent and impartial judiciary is not a power that will take sides for or against political parties! The sole purpose of the judiciary is to ensure justice," he said.
CHP Spokesperson Yücel wrote the following on his X account regarding the YSK's decision to reject the request to halt his party's Istanbul Ordinary Provincial Congress:

"The Istanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance, which previously tried to halt the CHP Istanbul Extraordinary Provincial Congress, wanted to halt our party's ordinary Istanbul Provincial Congress this time as well, but the YSK decided to reject this unlawful request.
