CHP takes action after lawyer's release: 'IMM exchange' agenda to remain open
CHP Spokesperson Deniz Yücel spoke regarding the 'IMM exchange' (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality exchange) previously announced by his party's Chairman, Özgür Özel.

Yücel reacted to the fact that lawyer Mehmet Yıldırım, who is alleged to have established an 'IMM exchange,' was not even held in custody as a precaution following his statement to the prosecutor's office.
Yücel stated, "He is not even held in custody at the Vatan Police Headquarters for a single day. The work he does and the crimes he commits could be evaluated as bribery, mediation in bribery, or extortion, but they are being evaluated as 'influence peddling,' and it is claimed that there is a ban on arrest for this crime based on the penalty amount, so he is released under judicial control.
However, the penalty for this crime is imprisonment from 2 to 5 years. In other words, there is no ban on arrest. He is not taken to the Vatan Police Headquarters, he is not held in custody for even a single day," he said. Yücel announced that they would file a separate complaint with the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) this week regarding the lawyer whose name was disclosed by Özel, who was caught and detained on charges of "influence peddling" and subsequently released under judicial control, as well as his connections.
CHP Spokesperson Deniz Yücel made a statement regarding his party's Central Executive Board (MYK) agenda. Yücel's statement is as follows:
"We commemorate with respect, mercy, and gratitude Eren Bülbül, who was martyred 8 years ago as a result of fire opened by members of the separatist terrorist organization in Maçka, whose heart was too big for Maçka at the age of 15, and our hero Petty Officer Ferhat Gedik, who was martyred while protecting him. We underline once again that every step we take is taken with the sensitivity of not hurting our martyrs, their families, and our veterans, and that it will continue to be so from now on.
Dear members of the press, we discussed many issues at our MYK meeting today. One of them was the commission established in the parliament. As you know, the commission started its work last week. Our MYK members who are commission members, Gökçe Gökçen, Murat Bakan, and our Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir, gave a presentation to our MYK. The Republican People's Party's participation in this commission was criticized with justifications such as 'Constitutional amendments will be discussed and debated in this commission,' but everyone saw that constitutional amendments were not discussed or debated in this commission. We have always said this: no one should fear the commission that the Republican People's Party is in. The Republican People's Party is the guarantor of the Constitution, the unitary state, and the sensitivities of our Martyr Families and Veterans.
Again, criticisms were directed regarding the fact that the 2nd meeting held last week was conducted in secret. If you recall, when Erdoğan said, 'Israel's next target is Turkey,' the parliament also met in a secret session. According to the Parliament's Internal Regulations, secret sessions can be held on issues concerning National Security. This is an exceptional situation. At the 2nd meeting of the commission, the Minister of Interior, the Minister of National Defense, and the Head of the MIT (National Intelligence Organization) gave presentations. Therefore, it is very natural for a meeting where the MIT gives a presentation to be held as a secret session. However, this session was recorded as a full transcript upon the application of the Republican People's Party.
I would like to underline this here; the Republican People's Party had established a commission under the name 'Democracy and Justice Commission' 9 months before this commission was formed. This commission had already been working for months on main topics such as democracy, social peace, equal citizenship, justice, and the rule of law. Before the 3rd meeting to be held tomorrow, our CHP commission members will hold a press conference to share with the public the work done by the Republican People's Party and the main headings of the proposals to be brought to the commission. For example, inviting our Martyr Families and Veterans to this commission, and inviting the Union of Turkish Bar Associations, academics, and scientists to contribute are a few of the most important sensitivities of the Republican People's Party. We want it to be known that the Republican People's Party will not hesitate to take responsibility in every point that is in the interest of our country and our nation.
BALIKESİR EARTHQUAKE
I wish God's mercy upon our 81-year-old citizen who lost his life in the 6.1 magnitude earthquake that occurred last night with its epicenter in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir and was felt in many of our cities, and I wish patience and condolences to his family. I wish a speedy recovery to our 29 citizens who were rescued with injuries.
During and after the earthquake, GSM operators were locked again, and our people could not reach their loved ones again.
While there was no loss of life in the 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Russia, there is a loss of life in the 6.1 magnitude earthquake centered in Balıkesir. Since the morning hours, aftershocks in Balıkesir have been signaling a major earthquake, alarm bells are ringing, but unfortunately, we lose one of our lives in an expected earthquake, and there are many injured. How many more magnitude earthquakes are you waiting for to face the reality that Turkey is an earthquake country? This is not an issue that can be brushed off by saying 'it is fate' or 'it is destiny.' The earthquake is a reality of Turkey. Turkey is an earthquake country... And our future President and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu, who acts with the awareness of this reality,
has invested approximately 65 billion liras in Istanbul's infrastructure since 2019.
He also took important steps for disaster safety and implemented the Earthquake Risk Reduction System.
He created the Istanbul earthquake action plan to plan for making Istanbul more resilient against possible earthquakes. With the Rapid Screening Method, 1,556 buildings with high risk rates that are not resistant to earthquakes in Istanbul were identified, and official processes were initiated for 96 buildings.
"COUNTRY OF EASY DEATHS"
And with the judicial coup on March 19, not only was the future president, who shares the nation's troubles, taken prisoner, but the work carried out to prevent disasters that are highly likely to occur in a possible earthquake in Istanbul was also disrupted. And we have unfortunately experienced once again that it is not the earthquake, but poor construction, rotten and unsupervised buildings that take lives. In this country, an earthquake is not even needed for buildings and roads to collapse. We lost 5 of our lives in a building that collapsed for no reason in Konya at the beginning of this year. We do not accept that it becomes impossible to survive every day in Turkey, which has become a country of easy deaths. We expect more from the authorities than statements about loss of life and injuries after an earthquake. We no longer have any tolerance for even a single life lost in forest fires, earthquakes, floods, heat, or cold.
FAKE DIPLOMA SCANDAL
We have left behind a week that is proof of how the understanding that has been governing this country alone for 23 years has actually corrupted the moral and social structure of the country and how it has destroyed merit. As we said, 'What worse can happen to this country?', we watched with our mouths open how those with fake diplomas usurped the professions and positions that people earned by studying for years, working hard, and taking exams, and how they rose in state institutions without deserving it at all, in the rotten system created by the AKP understanding that destroys the rule of law and merit, and knows no bounds in cronyism and favoritism.
The state means trust and assurance. A certificate, a diploma, a title deed, a passport... These documents given by the state are not just pieces of paper. These are the guarantees of the homeowner, the university graduate, the elected mayor, and the citizen. The state gives these documents. This is the reason for their value and reliability.
Any kind of forgery made on an official document, electronic signature, or passport shakes trust in the state. Building palaces, creating a fleet of planes for oneself instead of buying fire-extinguishing planes, and showing off with long convoys do not bring prestige to the state.
What brings prestige to the state is only trust. It is trust in the state's institutions. It is trust in the legal order.
If there is trust in the state's institutions, if there is trust in the legal order, if there is trust in the economic order, there is trust in the state, and the state has prestige. The AKP government has once again made this nation ask the question, 'Where is this state?' 'Merit' has been destroyed in state institutions, and lies, deceit, and trickery have unfortunately permeated every institution...
Fake diplomas have been distributed like hotcakes... The Center for Combating Disinformation is still making statements saying, 'The claim that 400 academics were appointed irregularly is based on the abstract statement of one of the suspects in the file.' The AKP Spokesperson says in a statement made 4 days later, 'There is a situation that state institutions noticed 1 year ago. The relevant institutions have been warned. We will go to the end.' The Center for Combating Disinformation is publishing a bulletin called 'Claims and Facts' this time... The bottom line is, there is still no one who has made a comprehensive statement that will satisfy the public...
"YOU MAY HAVE GONE TO A CARPET CLEANER THINKING YOU WERE GOING TO A PSYCHOLOGIST"
We are facing a situation that falls apart no matter where you hold it. You may have gone to a carpet cleaner thinking you were going to a psychologist... The person you thought was a lawyer might be someone immoral and conscienceless enough to use the diploma of a lawyer who died in the earthquake... You stole the hopes of the young people!
You made honest, hardworking young people who worked hard for years ask the question, 'Was everything for nothing?'... What kind of government are you that you pushed this society into a great doubt and destroyed trust in the state and the reputation of the state's institutions. You destroyed the separation of powers and eliminated the independent and impartial structure of the judiciary. Those responsible for what is happening today are the architects of this crooked system that sent dozens of our mayors and colleagues to prison with the March 19 judicial coup without a single concrete piece of evidence.
It is the AKP government that took justice from the foundation of the state and intervened in the judiciary, eliminating its independent and impartial structure. Since the moment it came to power, with its interventions in many critical cases, the AKP is the primary culprit of the rot in the judiciary today. Due to these interventions over the years, trust in justice has fallen to 20% today. You have turned upside down the system where everyone knows who will be tried in which court, that is, where the 'natural judge' rule applies, and therefore no one doubts the impartiality of the judge who will try them...
SECOND COURT PANEL REACTION FOR IZMIR
Look, the judges of the Izmir 17th and 27th Criminal Courts of First Instance, who decided to release the detained defendants in the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality files, were appointed as members of the high criminal courts... Again in Izmir, a second panel was assigned to the Izmir 23rd High Criminal Court, where our former mayor Tunç Soyer and our Provincial Chairman Şenol Aslanoğlu will be tried... The Izmir 23rd High Criminal Court already has a panel to hear the case... With what motive are you assigning this second panel? What will this second panel do that the first panel did not do?
I ask Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, who constantly says the judiciary is independent and impartial; Is such a situation a normal, routine practice in our legal system? Of course not... A similar practice occurred in the case of Akın Gürlek, assigned in Istanbul for Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was our presidential candidate with the signatures of 15.5 million people... In the case of Mayor Ekrem with Akın Gürlek, the judge who voted for Mayor Ekrem's acquittal on all charges was reassigned and appointed to the Labor Court... The President of the Istanbul 5th Administrative Court, who was looking at Mayor Ekrem's diploma cancellation case, requested a research letter and was dismissed before he could even make a decision on the request for a stay of execution...
Mr. Yılmaz Tunç! With what motive and according to which criteria did the Council of Judges and Prosecutors, of which you are the president, make these changes? Are you going to stand up now and say again, again, once more, 'The judiciary in Turkey is independent and impartial'? Are these personnel changes a coincidence? Or is it the judicial leg of the plan to frame the CHP, designed by the government?
"TUNÇ CAN SAY 'JUDICIARY IS INDEPENDENT' 20 TIMES A DAY IF HE WANTS"
In no other period in Turkey has the independence and impartiality of the judiciary been trampled upon to this extent.
The AKP has done this consciously and systematically, step by step. Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç can make statements saying 'the judiciary is independent and impartial' 20 times a day if he wants, no one believes it because a person's mirror is their work, not their words.
REACTION TO MURAT ÇALIK'S DETENTION
There are values that make a human being human. Such as love, respect, tolerance... A sense of justice and conscience are among them. Right now, a process, a drama is being experienced in this country that will hurt the conscience of anyone who calls themselves a human, whoever they may be. Our Beylikdüzü Mayor Murat Çalık, who has survived cancer twice in the past and has lost weight to a level that would be considered risky since he entered prison, is being tested with his life by being persistently and insistently tried while detained. Despite there being no concrete information, document, or evidence that there is a suspicion of flight, a person who was elected by the votes of the people of Beylikdüzü and performs a public duty,
while he could be tried without detention by applying one or more Judicial Control measures such as a ban on traveling abroad, signing at the police station at certain periods, or house arrest, his detention is being continued, causing torment to himself, his family, and his loved ones.
Even before the prosecution has begun, even before he has appeared before the authorized judge who will try him, he is being made to serve a sentence in advance by being kept in prison conditions that threaten his health. Look, I am calling out from here once again. End this torment. Trial in detention is not a divine command. The conditions for trial in detention are listed in the Criminal Procedure Code. These conditions do not exist. According to our laws, trial without detention is the rule, and trial in detention is the exception. Murat Çalık must be released.
"THE EMPTY CHAIR SCARES THE GOVERNMENT BADLY"
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had found the crime of 'threatening the President' in a video published on Fatih Altaylı's channel on June 20, which made references to history and made some analyses and findings, and had launched an ex officio investigation. Journalist Fatih Altaylı has been detained for 51 days within the scope of this investigation... The usurpation of his freedom could not prevent Fatih Altaylı from practicing journalism...
He writes and comments from Silivri and serves the public's freedom to receive information.
It didn't stop there; an access ban decision was issued for Fatih Altaylı's YouTube channel. In their minds, they even organized an operation against Fatih Altaylı's empty chair. Now, another investigation has been opened against Fatih Altaylı on charges of publicly spreading misleading information, and up to 3 years in prison is requested. Because this empty chair is watched more than all the viewership of the pro-government media. Because this empty chair scares the government badly.
The point is this; as Fatih Altaylı comments, the public learns the truth, and as the public learns the truth, the AKP's government shakes... No matter what they do, they will not be able to prevent their departure in the first election.
ALLEGATION OF IRREGULARITY IN LGS
In a system where academics with fake diplomas train students, neither conscience nor morality can be mentioned... Today, in our country, it is not possible to talk about the right to equal education, fair health services, and most painfully, that the right to life is under guarantee. Unfortunately, our citizens, from the youngest to the oldest, have no guarantee on any issue. Before the LGS exam is over, the questions fall into WhatsApp... Newborn babies are killed in the hospital... Women are subjected to violence at home, in the middle of the street, and no precautions are taken.
REACTION TO FEMICIDES
The name of the fact that this government cannot protect women's right to life and cannot prevent femicides was yesterday;
Özgecan Aslan, Emine Bulut, Ceren Damar, Şule Çet, Münevver Karabulut, İkbal Uzuner, Ayşenur Halil, Rojin Kabaiş. Today it is Saliha Ozan... She was a parliament employee. Law No. 6284 was not enough to protect the employee of the Parliament that made the law... Saliha Ozan was just a woman trying to get a divorce...
She requested protection from the court within the scope of 6284, but Saliha Ozan, whom the state could not protect, was stabbed 37 times and killed...
Women who are always killed, where only the names change but the result never changes, killed by being thrown from a plaza, killed by having concrete poured on them, killed by being stepped on in a barrel, killed by being thrown into the sea, left in the forest, killed by being cut into pieces, killed live on social media, killed with a sword in the middle of the street, but always killed, every time, with different scenarios, in every way, always killed women...
"TURKEY HAS TURNED INTO A WOMEN'S GRAVEYARD"
Turkey has become a country of women killed with various scenarios. Turkey has turned into a women's graveyard. We will continue to say tirelessly and emphatically that femicides are political. Because;
'Nothing happens from one time' is a political statement.
'Men and women cannot be equal. It is against nature' is a political statement.
'I don't know if she is a girl or a woman' is a political statement.
'Unemployment is increasing because women are looking for jobs' is a political statement.
'Women should not laugh out loud, it is unchastity' is a political statement.
'Women's career is motherhood' is a political statement.
'Women are the ornament of the house' is a political statement.
ISTANBUL CONVENTION EMPHASIS: A POLITICAL DECISION
And withdrawing from the Istanbul Convention is a political decision taken by the AKP government.
Not protecting women's right to life is the policy of the AKP government.
We are calling out to the AKP government from here once again; You cannot brush off violence against women and femicides by condemning, cursing, and saying 'alas'! This order, where the perception of impunity encourages murderers, must end! The AKP mentality, which does not see, hear, or implement protection orders for women, and which withdrew from the Istanbul Convention with a midnight decree and a single signature, is an accomplice to violence against women. This system, which could not protect Saliha Ozan and rendered 6284 ineffective, does not keep women alive. The order of those who consciously and systematically collapse the education system and those with fake diplomas takes away women's right to life. Once upon a time, someone said: 'As the prime minister of this country, I clearly state that even a sheep snatched by a wolf on the banks of the Tigris is under my responsibility.' But he could neither protect the woman nor nature... He could neither protect the tree nor the forest, nor our animal friends... He could neither protect the social order nor justice, nor morality...
While this is the case, Minister of Justice Mr. Yılmaz Tunç made a press statement and announced something called family mediation... This is also a new invention of the AKP... A system that will speed up divorce but leave women economically stranded is being announced as if it were good news. Of course, long-lasting divorce cases are a problem, but this proposed system is not a solution either. Separating the divorce decision from material and moral compensation and alimony will mean that the rights of divorced women will be kept waiting for years. At a time when domestic violence is so widespread and violence against women is increasing so much, introducing the concept of family mediation will make problems even more inextricable. In a country where pressure on women is growing so much, this practice will deepen inequality.
For the mediation system to work healthily, women must not be under pressure and fear.
How will mediators protect women who want to separate from their husbands and have obtained a restraining order from male violence? How will the meeting place be determined, who will provide security in the environment? It is also meaningful that those who do not give the answer to these questions show Europe, which they find lacking in every subject and say 'they are jealous of us' at every opportunity, as an example in this regard!
Ignoring the strong social security system, women's protection, and security mechanisms in Europe and saying we will implement this like in Europe is just a dream for now... The steps to be taken by this government, which withdrew its signature from the Istanbul Convention, sees women as second-class in many areas, and opposes the concept of gender equality, naturally arouse suspicion and anxiety.
ECONOMIC CRISIS
The AKP government, which has done everything to take the diploma and merit from education and women from the street and social life in 23 years, has also taken the crowd in the bazaar and the tradesman's first sale... It has also taken the reward for the sweat of the worker, the laborer, the retiree, and the producer. It stole the smile from smiling faces and replaced it with helplessness.
The minimum wage is 22 thousand 104 liras, the lowest pension is 16 thousand 881 liras, the hunger threshold is 26 thousand liras, and the poverty threshold is 86 thousand liras. These 4 figures are a summary of the state of the economy. It is proof of the government's lack of conscience. It is the very helplessness of the people. The children of this country are not full, their parents' faces are not smiling, their grandparents' money is not enough to survive, but if you ask the government, the economy is growing day by day. If you ask Mehmet Şimşek, he announces a new single-digit inflation drop date every day.
In AKP's Turkey, we can both be one of the countries with the lowest ratio of public expenditures to national income in Europe and be the 5th country paying the most interest relative to national income in Europe.
Because we spend money not on the worker, the laborer, the retiree, the tradesman, the farmer, the earthquake victims, extinguishing forest fires, or social aid, but to fill the pockets of the cronies through interest.
The government not only fails to ensure equality in taxation but also pays interest to the segments that receive the largest share of income, so naturally, the money does not go into the laborer's pocket but into the pockets of the money barons.
And then we become 107th out of 180 countries with 34 points in Transparency International's 2024 Corruption Perceptions Index for Turkey. In the Corruption Perceptions Index, there is a very sharp contrast between countries with strong, independent institutions, free and fair elections, and countries with oppressive authoritarian regimes like ours. While the average of full democracies in the Corruption Perceptions Index is over 70, it is 34 points in countries with flawed democracies like ours that distribute fake diplomas. Despite all this, according to the AKP government, the economy is soaring, and Europe is jealous of us. The screens are full of managers who say 'don't even think about an interim raise for the minimum wage,' rents have skyrocketed, a vacation has become a dream for the working class, the farmer's crop is left in his hands, the tradesman has closed his shutters, and the treasury has had a deficit of 1.4 trillion in the first 7 months!
Interest expenses have reached 1.2 trillion, but while TÜİK (Turkish Statistical Institute) is announcing July inflation, it is concerned with painting a rosy picture with made-up data...
"IT WILL END WITH A BALLOT BOX"
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek is shouting cries of joy, saying 'the lowest inflation in 44 months,' but there is no sign of the people's faces smiling. The worker whose salary has been melting for 44 months, the laborer, the civil servant whose purchasing power is decreasing every day, is not smiling, cannot smile. The public's purchasing power has decreased by 20 percent in 7 months, and they are still telling fairy tales. Surviving in Turkey has turned into a serious struggle for life... The AKP's figures do not match the realities of the street. The country is falling apart. 86 million are counting the days until they stand before the ballot box.
Both the ostentation of the palace and the misery of the street will end with a ballot box, it is near...
IMM EXCHANGE
This government has put dynamite at the foundation of the state. We are fighting against an understanding that empties the concept of justice, almost zeros out trust in the judiciary, and hands over the judiciary to gangs just for the seat of a single person. The information disclosed by our Chairman, Mr. Özgür Özel, regarding the IMM investigation is of a nature that will completely eliminate trust in the judicial system and justice. People are being arrested on some unfair accusations. A market is being created by some people over the hope of suspects inside, in prison, to be released and reunite with their loved ones, and a system worth billions of liras is being established for this... The name of the system is the IMM Exchange...
The lawyer named Mehmet Yıldırım, whose name our Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel gave last week, is acting as a lawyer for many suspects... Since the beginning of this investigation, a limitation has been imposed on all lawyers, saying 'you can only meet with one suspect, you can be the lawyer of only one suspect,' but there is no such limitation for this lawyer. Why? Because this lawyer is specially authorized... He is bargaining on behalf of the prosecutors...
He is a merchant of hope, the crime he committed is at the very least influence peddling... We are facing a major judicial scandal... I say this by exempting our clean prosecutors and lawyers who do not move a millimeter on the scales of justice and who know the laws as their compass... Our Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel announces this lawyer to 86 million at our Tuzla rally. This person is detained in Antalya on the allegation of 'influence peddling' within the scope of the IMM case exchange. After giving a statement at the prosecutor's office, house arrest is given.
REMINDED OF MEHMET PEHLİVAN
He is not even held in custody at the Vatan Police Headquarters for 1 day. The work he does and the crimes he commits could be evaluated as bribery, mediation in bribery, or extortion, but they are being evaluated as influence peddling, and it is claimed that there is a ban on arrest for this crime based on the penalty amount, so he is released under judicial control. However, the penalty for this crime is imprisonment from 2 to 5 years. In other words, there is no ban on arrest. He is not taken to the Vatan Police Headquarters, he is not held in custody for even 1 day. Ekrem İmamoğlu's lawyer Mehmet Pehlivan was detained solely because of his legal activities, he was held in custody at the Vatan Police Headquarters for 1 night, his statement was taken, and he was released.
In the second case, the Prosecutor called, he complied with the Prosecutor's invitation, and he was referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where he went on his own feet accompanied by his lawyers, for arrest and was arrested.
Another lawyer, Onur Büyükhatipoğlu, who works on the IMM file, was held in custody at the Vatan Police Headquarters for 4 days solely because of his legal activities. And when he was brought to the prosecutor's office, he was asked only 4 questions.
Look at the double standard, dear friends! No detention for Mehmet Yıldırım even for 1 day, released under judicial control, detention or arrest at Vatan Police Headquarters for other lawyers... They cannot arrest Mehmet Yıldırım, because he is their own man!
ANNOUNCED THAT A COMPLAINT WILL BE FILED WITH HSK AGAIN
On August 7, the detained suspect in the IMM file, Murat Kapki, gives a statement. He says, 'Lawyers are coming here, they say we will get you released in exchange for money.' Who are these lawyers? What has the prosecutor's office done about this so far? Our complaint petition, which also includes the names of these people, regarding the allegations that some prosecutors working on this file threatened women with their children and people with their spouses, was submitted to the HSK 3 weeks ago. Regarding these new developments; that is, we will file a separate complaint with the HSK this week regarding the lawyer whose name our Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel disclosed, who was caught and detained on the allegation of 'influence peddling' and released under judicial control, and his connections.
The immunity of those who are members of the AKP's instructed judiciary is unbelievable! All of this is being staged so that the one-man ruler does not lose his seat... Those who set up this stage, those who are part of it, those who think this filth will not come out have hit a very hard rock this time... The CHP will reveal all the tricks of this government with its determined and resolute staff. This government, which shakes trust in the state, is not ashamed to torment people who need treatment, cannot even prevent drug dealers from being narcotics police, and rots everything it touches, should not remain in power for 2 and a half days, let alone 2 and a half years.
Early election has become a necessity that has ceased to be a need.
The legacy left to the country by the AKP's 23-year rule is this:
* So-called physicians with fake diplomas writing prescriptions,
* So-called teachers with fake diplomas working in schools,
* Ministers selling disinfectant to their own companies,
* Babies dying in hospitals,
* Women being subjected to violence on the street and at home,
* The President of Religious Affairs not mentioning the name of the Great Leader Atatürk,
* Kemalist lieutenants being removed from the army,
* Arresting its youth,
* Irregularities in its exams,
* Teachers not being appointed,
* Retirees receiving a salary of 16 thousand liras, workers receiving a wage of 22 thousand liras,
* Rent prices burning pockets,
* Citizens unable to feed themselves,
* Cherries not being eaten in the summer months, meat not being bought except for the Feast of Sacrifice, calculating even when buying eggs,
* Elected mayors being arrested with slanders,
* The economy being handed over to managers without initiative, education to sect-loving ministers, diplomacy to inexperienced staff, and the judiciary to gangs,
* A country with no joy left, decreasing hope for the future, unable to see its tomorrow...
The picture is bad, but we are never pessimistic. Let no one forget... The darkest time of the night is the time closest to dawn. At the end of this blessed struggle we give by uniting, growing, and standing in solidarity, we will share fairly and live like brothers in this country...."
