CHP to hit the field in full force ahead of budget negotiations!

The CHP is expected to visit 81 provinces over two days on November 16-17. According to the prepared plan, approximately 175 people, consisting of Party Assembly (PM) members, Central Executive Board (MYK) members, and deputies, will visit 81 provinces that same weekend. According to party sources, unless there is a change, the field work is planned for November 16-17. CHP delegations will visit bazaars, markets, and shops to listen to citizens. Party sources stated that it will be like a full-scale mobilization across all 81 provinces.

THE BUDGET WILL BE EXPLAINED

Regarding the planned work, party sources commented, “All party cadres, including the Chairman, will hit the field. Unless there is a change, it is planned for November 16-17. It will last two days. All 81 provinces will be visited. Citizens will be heard before the budget negotiations. Objections to the budget will be developed accordingly. In Parliament, they will say, ‘This is not just our rhetoric; we are conveying the voice of the citizens we listened to in the streets, bazaars, and markets.’”

WILL VISIT THE BAZAAR

According to information obtained, it is planned that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel will also take the pulse of the field in a bazaar or market. However, while it is stated that it is not yet clear which province Özel will visit, it was said, “It will probably be Manisa, since it is his own province, but it is not yet certain.” Staff members state that they will take a snapshot of Turkey to speak on the budget accordingly and bring these issues to the national agenda. Noting that they will visit both bazaars and markets as well as shopkeepers on main streets, the staff members indicate that they will ask what the citizens on the street are thinking.

BLACK SEA TOUR

Özel is preparing to embark on a Black Sea tour in the coming days. It is currently envisioned that Özel will visit 7 provinces at once during his Black Sea program. Party sources stated that the date of the Black Sea tour has not yet been finalized.

RENEWING ITS PROGRAM

The CHP has also begun work on renewing its party program. Delegations consisting of PM members, High Disciplinary Board (YDK) members, and deputies will conduct provincial visits as part of the party program renewal efforts. The delegations will prepare reports as a result of the field work.

CHP MYK TO MEET

The CHP Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting will be held today at 13:00 at the Headquarters. The field work is also expected to be on the agenda of the MYK.
