The Republican People's Party (CHP) Central Executive Board (MYK) met under the chairmanship of Chairman Özgür Özel.

The agenda of the meeting included developments in Syria, a potential wave of migration to Turkey, and the current state of the economy.

According to Gazete Duvar, the security of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) in the Idlib region and the measures to be taken against the possibility of irregular migration from the region to Turkey were discussed. In particular, the preservation of Syria's territorial integrity and unitary structure was emphasized.

Under the economy section of the meeting, feedback obtained from city visits was evaluated, and party spokespersons stated that the minimum wage and other economic promises have received a positive response from the public.

The trustee appointed to the Esenyurt Municipality was also on the table. The CHP's reaction to this situation and the steps to be taken in Parliament were discussed. It was reported that, recalling the MHP's previous statements regarding trustee appointments, a search for cooperation for a new legislative regulation would be initiated.

The CHP will continue to seek common ground with the MHP to prevent trustee appointments and will request an appointment. They will exchange information on the steps to be taken regarding this matter.
