CHP youth branch president and 3 executives detained in İzmir for insulting the President
In İzmir, Republican People's Party (CHP) Çiğli Youth Branch President Okan Er and 3 other district executives were detained on charges of insulting the President. The 4 executives, who were referred to the courthouse, were released by the court under judicial control conditions.

Republican People's Party (CHP) Çiğli Youth Branch President Okan Er and district executives Umut Ergün, Özgür Kızıltepe, and Taner Kaplan allegedly wrote graffiti on walls during election campaign activities.
The executives, who were accused of using figures of President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the writings and writing 'Hamza, call me urgently!', were detained by Çiğli District Police Department teams following a complaint.
Okan Er and his fellow executives Umut Ergün, Özgür Kızıltepe, and Taner Kaplan, who were detained on charges of insulting the President, were released by the court to which they were referred after police processing, with judicial control conditions including a travel ban imposed.
