CHP's Yücel shared his assessments regarding the current agenda in a social media post. The arrest of Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer

The assessments made by our Chairman, Mr. Özgür Özel, regarding the detention and arrest process of our Esenyurt Mayor have offended Erdoğan and his team so much that the AKP spokesperson, acting as if they haven't been governing the country for 22 years, has once again resorted to playing the victim, starting from a coup that took place 64 years ago...

The People's Alliance, which cannot produce remedies or solutions for the fundamental problems of the public—primarily the economic crisis and the high cost of living, as well as unemployment, the refugee issue, social violence, violence against women and children, social decay, and institutional corruption—has become the organizer of all kinds of dirty tricks and evil so that these problems are not discussed.

While they have marginalized our Kurdish citizens for years and kept politicians, journalists, and academics in prison despite the rulings of the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights, those who "sent a gilded invitation to Imralı" just to get Tayyip Erdoğan elected President one more time will go down in the pages of history as a network of betrayal, just as they have hurt the feelings of our martyrs' families and our veterans and caused the bones of our martyrs to ache!

The trustee coup carried out in Esenyurt 2 days ago, in violation of legal rules and democracy, is also an example of the same dirty tricks and organized evil of the People's Alliance.

It is a complete disgrace that an administration that was never ashamed of turning Esenyurt into a concrete hell and a refugee warehouse during its own term in power has had an academic mayor, elected with 50% of the vote, arrested and removed from office on legally "baseless" and, in reality, "fabricated" grounds, despite there being no suspicion of flight or evidence tampering; and appointing a trustee in his place is an even greater disgrace.

Your "Century of Turkey" fairy tale is nothing more than your Machiavellian political understanding that does everything and tries every path and method just to stay in power!
