CHP's Başarır has responded to AKP member Süleyman Soylu's 'My British Özgür' remarks targeting CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.

Former Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu attacked CHP Chairman Özgür Özel via his social media account, using the phrase 'My British Özgür' in reference to statements Özel made to foreign media outlets.

While Soylu expressed his closeness to AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan with the words 'we are together to the depths of the depths,' he accused Özel of lying.

Süleyman Soylu used the following expressions in his post:

"My British Özgür;

I received your latest message from your British friends on the island (Cyprus).

Just as you stabbed Kemal Bey—that is, your own chairman—in the back, do not confuse us with yourself.

RESPONSE TO SOYLU FROM CHP'S BAŞARIR

The response to AKP's Süleyman Soylu came from CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır.

Pointing to the fact that some individuals Soylu has been photographed with have been involved in crimes, Başarır dubbed him 'Album Süleyman' and gave the following response to the expressions and accusations of lying that former Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu directed at Özgür Özel:

Album Süleyman!

Even the man at the head of your economy is a British citizen. And the oath he took is this:

"I swear that when I become a British citizen, I will remain loyal to the Crown (King-Queen), follow their ways, and remain loyal to the United Kingdom"

The CHP and its chairmen are the successors of those who drove the British out of the country; you, on the other hand, are the successor of those who fled by boarding a British battleship! Do not confuse them!

Also, you said that you are together with Tayyip Erdoğan to the 'end of the darkness' and to the 'depths of the depths.' I completely agree with you on this, Album Süleyman.
