Circular issued to prevent psychological harassment in workplaces: Regulation against mobbing
A circular aimed at preventing psychological harassment (mobbing) in workplaces has been published in the Official Gazette with the signature of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The circular aims to protect employees against psychological harassment and to combat such incidents effectively.
In this context, it was emphasized that types of psychological harassment in workplaces, such as the intentional and systematic humiliation, exclusion, and mistreatment of employees, must be prevented.
It was stated that employees subjected to harassment may apply to the relevant institutions and organizations.
BOARD RESTRUCTURED
Furthermore, the Board for Combating Psychological Harassment, which operates under the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, has been restructured. This board will convene with the participation of the Ministry of Justice, the Human Rights and Equality Institution of Türkiye, the Ombudsman Institution, and other relevant organizations.
It was stated that the board will carry out duties such as determining policies against mobbing in workplaces nationwide, coordinating training and awareness activities, conducting research, and raising public awareness.
While it was noted that employers and managers must develop preventive and protective policies against psychological harassment, it was also conveyed that training programs will be increased to inform employees about their rights.
Additionally, it was stated that support will be provided to employees subjected to psychological harassment through psychologists working on the ALO 170 hotline. It was also announced that the previous circular numbered 2011/2 has been repealed.
