Citizen wants İmamoğlu: 'My son is bedridden, no one is reaching out, enough, we are fed up!'

Citizens are trying to make their voices heard as much as they can regarding the difficulties they face. A citizen who attended the CHP's rally in Aksaray shared the grievances she experiences because she cannot take her 43-year-old bedridden son to the hospital.

The CHP continues its rallies, which it launched to protest the imprisonment of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu in Silivri prison.

The CHP's latest stop was Aksaray. The scene that emerged as citizens gathered at the rally shared their experiences with economic hardships was heartbreaking.

A woman who was handed a microphone described the difficulties she faces with these words:

"What am I supposed to do with the 10 thousand liras coming from my husband's pension?

Look at our hands, we are tired of struggling. We are starving. Enough, we are fed up. We are tired of struggling.

My son is bedridden. No one is reaching out.

He is 43 years old and I cannot take him to the doctor. He needs to go to physical therapy, but the hospital won't provide a vehicle...

How am I supposed to take him, how am I supposed to bring him back, it's a sin, it's a sin! We are starving, there is nothing! Let İmamoğlu come now."
