Citizen who felt the earthquake in Bursa jumps from the second floor and loses their life!

Minister Koca: “A citizen of ours who felt the earthquake that occurred in Çanakkale while in Bursa was severely injured after jumping from the second floor due to fear, and lost their life at the hospital where they were taken.”

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca announced that a citizen living in the Nilüfer district of Bursa jumped from the second floor out of fear during the earthquake that occurred in Yenice, Çanakkale, and lost their life despite all interventions at the hospital where they were taken.

In a post on his social media account, Minister Koca stated, “In the 4.9-magnitude earthquake that occurred this evening in Yenice, Çanakkale, and was also felt in Balıkesir and Istanbul in addition to Çanakkale, a citizen of ours in the Nilüfer district of Bursa was severely injured after jumping from the second floor due to fear; they lost their life despite all interventions at the Çekirge State Hospital, where they were taken by ambulance. I wish God’s mercy upon them and offer my condolences to their family. May God protect us all from disasters.”
