Citizen who says they were left homeless reacts to Murat Kurum: You promised us zoning, but you didn't deliver

In Istanbul's Başakşehir district, a citizen who stated they were left homeless reacted to AKP's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate Murat Kurum, saying, "You promised us zoning, but you didn't deliver."

People's Alliance Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) mayoral candidate Murat Kurum was in Başakşehir as part of his local election campaign.

According to a report in Sözcü; a citizen living in the Şahintepe neighborhood, who is a victim of urban transformation, reacted to Kurum by stating that they had been left homeless.

To the citizen who said, "I came to you and you gave me your word in 2019," Kurum asked, "Did I do it? Did I keep my promise?" to which the citizen replied, "None of it happened."

When the citizen said, "You promised us zoning, but you didn't deliver," Murat Kurum responded by saying, "We did."
