The 91.8 billion TL budget of the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) and the luxury official vehicles of Diyanet President Ali Erbaş are constantly on the agenda.

Recently, a new development regarding the institution has emerged.

According to information in the Public Procurement Bulletin, the Diyanet held a catering tender on March 26 for "candidate religious officials" at the Elazığ Harput Religious Specialization Center.

The tender for 210 days of catering services was won by Aşsa Grup Yemekçilik Şirketi, which submitted a bid of approximately 13 million TL. The tender file prepared by the Diyanet included details regarding the requested meals.

Meat dishes such as steak, fillet, roast, and iskender will be the main course four days a week.

4 DAYS OF MEAT: ISKENDER, KEBAB, ROAST, LIVER...

According to the report by İsmail Arı from BirGün; the Diyanet's "special menu" is as follows:

"On four days of the week, dishes dominated by meat such as steak, fillet, boiled meat, fried meat, chicken, liver, types of kebabs, roast, dry meatballs, İzmir meatballs, ladybud meatballs (kadınbudu), dalyan meatballs, iskender kebab, etc., will be served as the main course.

On three days of the week, fresh seasonal vegetables, dried vegetable dishes, canned or fresh vegetable dishes with pieces of meat, peas, eggplant moussaka, stuffed vegetables (dolma and sarma) with meat, etc. (sufficient amounts of meat or minced meat will also be used in these dishes) will be served. Garnishes will not be counted as a meal variety. On religious holidays, main courses dominated by meat will also be served.

MEAT WILL BE FROM YOUNG CALVES!

Veal; will be obtained from calves between 1.5-2 years old.

Chickens: Due to the meat carried along the entire length of the breastbone up to the pointed part of the moderately deep and long breastbone, it will be meaty enough to give it a round appearance, without a neck, with the wings completely removed and the backbone taken out.

Leg: Well-fleshed, having gained a round, plump appearance due to the meat carried downwards, separated from the rear middle and with the tailbone removed.

"THE BEST AND MOST DELICIOUS ON THE MARKET..."

The dry food to be used in meal production will be from the new year's harvest, sufficiently dried, single-variety grains, of normal size, not shriveled, and will be of the best and most delicious type on the market.

White cheese or cheddar will be used in pasta and pastries."
