Claim from Nevşin Mengü regarding Kılıçdaroğlu: “To avoid nominating İmamoğlu…”
Evaluating the fact that Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu did not attend the last three events in Istanbul attended by CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, journalist Nevşin Mengü put forward the claim that "Kılıçdaroğlu might be paving the way for a primary election to avoid nominating İmamoğlu."

CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's absence of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu at the last three events he attended in Istanbul continues to maintain its heat on the political agenda.
Journalist Nevşin Mengü, who brought some claims regarding what is happening between Kılıçdaroğlu and İmamoğlu to her YouTube channel, said, "Even İmamoğlu's private secretary has no knowledge of these visits. Kılıçdaroğlu might be paving the way for a primary election to avoid nominating İmamoğlu."
Stating that "Kılıçdaroğlu sees İmamoğlu as a rebellious child," Mengü continued as follows:
"They are talking about primary elections, provincial elections are happening, etc., in the CHP. Is the way being paved for this? Will Eren Erdem not let İmamoğlu run? Will they block his path by saying a political ban might be coming?"
Previously speaking to journalist İsmail Saymaz, İmamoğlu had said, "I am not the addressee of the question. You cannot give an answer on a matter you have no information about."
