CHP's elected Chairman Özgür Özel bid farewell to his party of 34 years 2 months after the absolute nullity decision and founded the YENİ Party.

The YENİ Party, founded by 91 MPs along with Özel, became the main opposition party in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). The number of CHP MPs dropped to 44.

Journalist Hacı Yakışıklı, known for his proximity to the government, claimed that a wave of resignations will occur in the YENİ Party founded by Özel and his team.

"ÖZGÜR ÖZEL'S PARTY IS SHAKY"

Speaking on Tv100, Yakışıklı claimed that at least 10 MPs are on the 'verge' of resigning. Stating that "Özgür Özel's party is currently shaky," Yakışıklı said that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the CHP Chairmanship with an absolute nullity decision, and his team will initiate the 'process of returning to the ancestral home.'

Yakışıklı's statements are as follows:

"At least 10 of the 91 MPs who joined Özgür Özel are on the verge of resigning. They may not return to the CHP, they may remain independent, or they may join a different political party.

"IT WILL BE LIKE THE SERIES OF RESIGNATIONS IN THE İYİ PARTY"

Just as we saw a series of resignations within the İYİ Party, we will see it in the YENİ Party as well. Özgür Özel's party is currently shaky.

"KILIÇDAROĞLU WILL INITIATE THE PROCESS OF RETURNING TO THE ANCESTRAL HOME"

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his team will initiate the process of returning to the ancestral home. Mr. Kemal's concern is to save his party from shrinking. Özgür Özel talks about the founding codes so that this process does not happen."
