As the commission work carried out within the scope of a terror-free Turkey continues, striking allegations are being made regarding the requests brought to the agenda in the meetings. Most recently, it was claimed that the DEM Party requested 'autonomy' in the closed-door meeting. An interesting response to these claims came from MHP's Bulut.

MHP Tokat Deputy Yücel Bulut responded to the claim made by İyi Party Ankara Deputy Yüksel Arslan in his post titled 'Why Did We Not Participate in the Commission?', where he alleged that the DEM Party requested 'autonomy' from the Commission.

Bulut said, "They also asked for the Lake Van Monster."

İYİ Party member Arslan had made claims in a post on his social media account regarding "7 demands, including the change of Turkey's unitary structure and Kurdish becoming an official language, being requested from the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission."

In a statement made from the DEM Party's social media account, it was stated that this list of demands was fabricated, and it was emphasized that these were never on their agenda in the commission.

A humorous show of support for the DEM Party came from MHP's Bulut in response to the claims of İyi Party's Arslan. Bulut responded to Arslan's aforementioned claims on social media.
